Finding the right meeting room in Newcastle city centre should not be complicated. Whether you need to host a client presentation, run a team workshop, or hold a training session with a group, the space you choose sends a signal before anyone has said a word.
At Grainger Hub, we offer five professional meeting rooms available to both members and external guests, in a central Newcastle location that is straightforward for everyone to reach.
What We Offer
Our meeting rooms accommodate groups of four to twelve people, making them suitable for one-to-ones, small team sessions, interviews, board meetings, and workshops. Each room provides a professional environment designed for focused work: reliable, quiet, and set up for people who need to get things done rather than hunt for a working plug socket.
For larger gatherings, our 60-person exhibition and event space can be hired separately. It has been used for networking events, pitch competitions, seminars, and community business meetups. If you are planning something bigger than a standard meeting, this space offers genuine flexibility without the formality of a traditional conference venue.
All rooms are available for external hire, which means you do not need to be a Grainger Hub member to book. If you need a professional space for the day, we can accommodate you.
Who Uses Our Meeting Rooms
The people who book our rooms come with a wide range of needs. Freelancers use them to meet clients in a professional setting when a coffee shop simply will not do. Remote teams use them for quarterly planning sessions that require everyone in the same room. Businesses use them to run training days without the overhead of a dedicated training facility. Recruiters use them for interviews when working from home is not appropriate.
What they share is a need for somewhere that works: a space where guests feel comfortable, conversations stay confidential, and the practical details are already sorted before anyone arrives.
Why Location Matters for Your Guests
A meeting room is only as good as the journey your guests have to make to reach it. Grainger Hub sits on Grainger Street in Newcastle city centre, three minutes on foot from Newcastle Central Station. If your guests are travelling in from elsewhere in the North East, or arriving by train from further afield, getting to us is simple. There are no complicated directions and no long walks from the station.
For those driving in, multiple paid car parks are available nearby in the city centre. The location sits in the commercial heart of Newcastle, which means it is familiar to most people who work in or around the city.
There is also something to be said for meeting in a recognised city centre address. It is a small detail, but it matters when you are creating a first impression.
What Is Included
When you hire a meeting room at Grainger Hub, you are not arriving to an empty box and working it out from there. Our staffed reception team will welcome your guests, which takes the pressure off you if you are busy preparing. Superfast broadband is available throughout the building, and free tea, coffee, and fruit are on hand throughout the day.
Call booths are available in the wider space if you or a guest need to step out for a private conversation. The environment is professional without being corporate: comfortable, well-lit, and suited to people who are focused on the work rather than the surroundings.
Members and External Hire
If you are already a Grainger Hub member, meeting room access is part of being part of the space. For those booking externally, our rooms are available without any membership commitment.
For businesses that find themselves needing meeting space on a regular basis, it may be worth exploring what a Grainger Hub membership looks like. Hot desk and dedicated desk memberships both provide access to the space alongside the practical infrastructure that supports day-to-day work. A membership gives you a base in the city centre as well as a place to bring clients when you need it.
